Portumna Golf Club: It was a story of the three Marys from Portumna as the minor ladies won the All-Ireland at Donabate Golf Club. Portumna were unstoppable in the final with Mary McDonagh leading the way by scoring a 4&3 win in the first match. Mary McElroy followed with an impressive 7&5 win before Mary Kelly brought the title west thanks to a 5&4 win in the penultimate game.

The Cavan golfer, who plays out of the Galway club, has enjoyed consistent form throughout 2010 - a beaten finalist in the West of Ireland, third-round leader in the East of Ireland championship, and two singles wins for Connacht in the recent interprovincial series at Ballinrobe Golf club.
